A unique tour of hidden gardens in the Old Town Historic District.
Enjoy strolling through lovely landscapes and seeing your favorite early summer blooms throughout one of Huntsville's quaintest neighborhoods.
All 12 gardens will be open for tour for the duration of the garden tour. You are welcome to come and go at your leisure from 1-5 pm. Homeowners and volunteers from Master Gardeners will be hosting each garden. You may enjoy the tour at your pace. A map will be provided on the website as well as when you pick up your wrist band ticket from a ticket stand on the day of the event. You must have a wrist band to enter the gardens. If you purchase tickets online, all you’ll need to do is show your confirmation at one of the ticket stands to receive your wrist band. Tickets may also be purchased at the ticket stands on site the day of the event.
The Holmes Street United Methodist Church is generously allowing us to utilize their parking lot. There will also be parking available on the streets near the gardens. The nearest parking garage is located on Green St.
A trolley will be circling the Old Town Historic District on the day of the event to allow visitors easier access to the gardens. The trolley stops will be at the following locations : Clinton/White , East end of Walker , Holmes Street at the HUMC parking lot , and Clinton/Steele.
Ticket Stands will be located in the following locations : Providence School on Clinton/Calhoun, East end of Walker Ave, mid Steele St, and at the parking lot of Holmes St United Methodist Church.
We recommend some local establishments near the Old Town Historic District for rest breaks during your tour : Old Town Coffee on Pratt Ave, OTBX (Old Town Beer Exchange) on Holmes Ave, and Honest Coffee on Clinton Ave to name a few.
We hope you will join us to see some of the beautiful hidden gardens of Old Town!
We are thankful for Downtown Huntsville, INC making a video to highlight this year's Garden Tour. Enjoy a sneak peek, and we hope to see you Sunday!
